the difference.

i can see the big difference.
between our school and theirs.
the boys there are willing to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING
as long as its for the name of their school.
they are willing to sacrifice time and effort just to ensure that
their school can still stand tall.
they are willing to work their asses off to ensure that they bring
nothing but glory to their school.
the brotherhood they have with one another really shocked me and amazed me.

why is it that in tkgs?
a gerls' school also a single-sexed. cant be as bonded as one as compared to theirs...
we both are single-sex schools. just that ours a gerls' school. theirs a boys' school.
maybe their maturity level to us...may seem like little kids, little boys being immature.
but the fact is...we are the immature ones. we are indeed the little gerls so pampered so vain so unappreciative of all the things given to us.

are we gerls actually willing to say proudly that we are a proud standing TKGian studying in TKGS...
wearing this green uniform with pride and honour?
all i see in every of our eyes...are most of the times..regrets.
of why are we stuck here in this school?
but in their eyes, i could see love...passion and pride of being in that particular school..without regrets.
with respect instead.
is it the fault of ours..for not appreciating all the things they school have done for us?
is it the fault of ours..for not loving our school enough to actually tarnish its reputation?

i guess we tkgians...should really start reflecting...on how the school is trying their best...
to make us a successful lady in future. the school indeed, has groomed many successful leaders. not just a handful. but many.
we ourselves can be one of those that succeeds in life. we ourselves can be as good as them ... cos everyone as said...Every TKGian is a leader.
but what is a true meaning of a tkgian? i doubt i could answer that as well as a boy answered what is the true meaning of being a victorian.

as i read his post...as i read his admirations to his seniors...as i read his will to do anything for his school.
i cant help but hang my head low...and realised, how different our situations are.
how different our schools are. how different the students in our schools are especially.
we are both 2 good schools. 2 highly-respected and well-known schools in the east.
yet, there are major differences between us...
nope, not in the gender.
nor in the acadamics.
but sadly, in the attitude...mindset...and the character of every students in the school...

i admire them for their love for their school. i really do.
and maybe...we ourselves should start loving our school and wear our uniform with pride...
and maybe...that's the time when we could really say "I'm a TKGian..."
when the love for the school...comes sincerely from the heart.
& sad to say, i only have 1 year and 4 mths left in this school ... its time to make a difference.

thank you for making me realise (: appreciate it a lot.
